GRGHK GM Dr. Eduardas Vaigauskas Given 2011 China “Friendship Award”

General Manager of GRG Banking Equipment(HK) Co., Limited, Dr. Eduardas Vaigauskas was given the 2011 China “Friendship Award” and attended the award ceremony held September 29, at the Great Hall of the People. Member of the Politburo of the CPC Central Committee, Chinese Vice Premier Zhang Dejiang addressed speech and presented the awards to the winning foreign experts on the ceremony.
Congratulating the award-winners, Zhang expressed the heartfelt gratitude to them, whose efforts were considered "indispensable" in China's modernization. Zhang stressed, "China sincerely hopes the talented people from abroad continue to work as bridges between China and other regions."
The “Friendship Award”, short for The People's Republic of China Friendship Award, is the People's Republic of China's highest award for foreign experts who have made outstanding contributions to the country's economic and social progress. Set up in 1991, it is China's highest award for foreign experts who have made outstanding contributions to China's economic and social progress. There are 50 foreign experts from 21 countries to receive the award this year, from various industries.
Dr. Eduardas Vaigauskas says, "I am really surprised to receive such an honorable award. I feel satisfied enough that GRGBanking and China let me implement some of my dreams. And I am very happy that what I am doing is accepted by my company and the country. Then the award comes 'on top' of that satisfaction. I am deeply touched by such ‘unusual’ reward!" He also thinks it represents the country’s recognition and support to GRGBanking.
Dr. Eduardas Vaigauskas gained Doctor’s degree on Economics in Central Economical Mathematical Institute of Academy of Science in Moscow. His expertise in Partner Management in emerging market qualified him to have successfully run business in IT and international trade in East Europe and Central America.
Owning over 15 years of experience in banking equipment business and self-service industry, Mr. Vaigauskas has been representative of GRG Banking for E. Europe & M. Asia from 2008 to 2009 and in 2010 he was named General manager of GRG Banking Equipment (HK) Co., Limited, the subsidiary of GRG Banking Equipment Co., Ltd.
