IBM Mexico and GRG Banking, the leading provider of cash processing and currency recognition solutions in the Chinese market, announced today a partnership in Mexico to provide jointly an integrated hardware, software and services infrastructure for the financial services industry, comprising the full range of Automatic Teller Machines (ATMs) with different features depending on client needs, to meet the demand of all the processes that today are carried out in a branch. The partnership initiated in Mexico, where GRG has its own local subsidiary, is planned to be expanded to other LA countries, such as Peru, Colombia and Argentina, within the next three years.

Both companies are working jointly to introduce GRG’s latest technology particularly for cash recycling ATMs, drop-boxes and retail kiosks, based on IBM’s services portfolio, including ATM installation, maintenance and configuration, thus offering an end-to-end value solution.
