GRGBanking H68N Wins First China Design Award


All entries will be exhibited from December 9 to 11, during the Guangzhou Design Week and Industrial Design Expo China (Guangzhou), in Pazhou Poly World Trade Center Expo.
Guangzhou Design Week committee awarded GRGBanking the China Design Awards 2011 (Kapok Prize) for its ATM model H68N on Guangzhou, China, December 9, 2011. As the first ATM product awarded Kapok Prize, the machine “can be regarded as a symbol of cutting-edge design competency of Created-in-China”, said designer of H68N from GRGBanking.
As a large international event for promoting innovation and design, Guangzhou Design Week has once again become the only design event in China that jointly endorsed and promoted worldwide by the top three design organizations, which are International Council of Societies of Industrial Design (ICSID), International Council of Graphic Design Associations (ICOGRADA), and International Federation of Interior Architects/Designers (IFI). Nowadays, Guangzhou Design Week has become the most influential, international annual promotional activity with largest scale and most participants in Chinese design industry.
China Design Awards 2011 (Kapok Prize) focus on brand new value, scientific judging criteria, authoritative judges and various media promotion, gaining a high recognition and wide concern from the society. As an important contest of Guangzhou Design Week, Kapok Prize is an annual review of the process from “Made in China” to “Created in China”, a channel for corporate to represent the design power, and the highest platform to various products’ innovative design.
From the kickoff of the submission, the organizing committee received 1,120 works with coverage of home, work, study, play, leisure, health and travel. The international judge committees of Guangzhou Design Week select the Best of the Best of Kapok Prize to award 76 of those works. On the award ceremony, designer from GRGBanking received the trophy from the committee judge, President of International Council of Societies of Industrial Design, Soon-in Lee (Korea).
H68N, a new generation cash recycler, is made with the concept Green Design and Environmental-friendly Production. Its design features include: small footprint make it costs less on production and transport; innovative independent cash processing modules are extendable and flexible for customization; ADA/DDA compliance and voice recognition and guidance is friendly to the handicapped people; unique serial number tracking technology, ergonomic fascia, consumer awareness mirror and PIN Pad shield help to increase the security.
