GRGBanking attended the conference "IT in Financial Institutions" in Poland and showcased the VTM (Video Teller Machine) on Mar 14-15, 2013. With the theme “Banking Future”, the conference is one of the most famous and biggest ones for local bank focusing on IT issues.
Visitors were impressed by VTM’s real-time video interaction with remote bank teller, versatile functionalities as well as the modular design. VTM is a self service customer touch point for performing banking transactions and professional banking consultations via video connection.
According to Pranas Griskevicius, Regional Sales Director for Europe of GRGBanking, on the conference GRG VTM successfully delivered the new concept of future banking: Branch-in-a-box. This Branch-in-a-box concept is to provide new experience of a standardized and humanity banking service at any time, enable customer to reach remote expert consultant out of office hour, and realize most of the transaction previously available only in the branch. It also makes it more flexible for the bank to adjust the location for the population dynamics.
The event was jointly organized by GAB - Gdańska Akademia Bankowa (Gdańsk Banking Academy) and Bank BGZ, with approximately 120 delegates from banks, financial institutions and experts from IT companies.
