From November 17th to 20th, Andy Huang, the president of GRGBanking, conducted an in-depth investigation tour to the Myanmar, exploring the opportunities of accelerating various industrial upgrade with branch transformation, aiCore AI platform and some other innovative solutions.
Andy Huang and the delegation visited MAB, MOB, UAB, AYA and other banks. GRGBanking has become ATM total solutions provider for UAB Bank, Myanmar’s Best Bank by Euromoney, to establish financial support networks since 2013. During the trip, Strategic MOU with various Myanmar banks, e.g. UAB Bank, was signed to strengthen the cooperation in intelligent financial solutions, branch transformation solutions, local services and support networks. GRGBanking also signed MOU with local partner, Uranus to accelerate the various applications of AI technology in intelligent finance, smart city, intelligent transportation and other intelligent business sectors, as well as maximize the digitalization of business process to meet the diversified needs of Myanmar market.
Andy Huang told the media during the signing Ceremony, “September 2011, GRGBanking began to establish "Myanmar UnionPay" together with local partner. This project was approved by the Ministry of Finance of Myanmar and implemented under the leadership of the project committee of the Central Bank of Myanmar to realize the cross bank, cross regional and cross-border use of bank cards. In November 2011, Myanmar's first ATM went online, and the complete solution was provided by GRGBanking. This project became an important milestone for Myanmar's financial industry.”
